Lovely piece of hardware. I had already purchased the engine skid plate so was familiar with the superb quality this company delivers. Beautiful finish, I have no doubt this will last a lifetime offering excellent protection.
As engine skid plate was already bolted tight I had to loosen all 6 bolts to move the skid plate enough that the transmission skid plate hole would line up. After that very easy install.

Bought the Expedition package for my 2020 Tacoma off road edition. Install was very easy. Product feels solid, welds are seemingly good. Will look forward to some off road trips to see how it holds up. So far very impressed with the quality and workmanship of the skid plates
This set was a lot more heavy duty than expected. The welds are perfect. The fit was right on. The transfer case skid was a lot better than original especially with the large steel cross bracing that that comes with it. I’m very happy with the product. It’s very well built.
Emailed with Dave a few times before buying. Communication was great, he always replied within a few hours. I made him aware of an upcoming trip, wanting the skids before hand. He said it wouldn’t be a problem. When they showed up the welds were clean, edges all smoothed out. Overall excellent craftsmanship. You can tell this man takes pride in his work. Install was easily done in my driveway. Would 100% be happy to buy from him again.

Great replacement for the OEM “skid plates” that Toyota calls them. Wait for the gas and diff skids next!

These plates fit perfectly. Nice and tight to the undercarriage,no problem even with my diff drop. I put these on my wife’s 3rd gen taco and was impressed enough to scrap the one on my second gen and replace with OK’s products.

Knowing the torque for the bolts when replacing the tow hooks would be helpful
I purchased the 24+Expedition Package and to be honest I was a little nervous about what I would be getting, I’m a little OCD. When I did receive the packages I had to open them right away and was very pleased. The skid plates were perfect, from the thickness, gussets, welds, beveled edges, finish and fitment. Funny thing is now I need a little bit of a suspension lift and 35’s so others can see the skid plates!
Fit and finish are perfect. Bolted up without any issues. Very robust .
PROS: Good quality, easy to install & includes all hardware.
CONS: you must remove the skid plate to change the oil otherwise it ends up being an environmental disaster with lots of clean up.
Amazing build quality and the install was a breeze. Being able to support a Canadian company is a bonus as well. Love the skid plate and happy i chose Ok Expedition.
